Bio: Ethan Hawke began his career in acting at the age of 14 when he was cast as Ben Crandall, the main character, in the 1985 release of Explorers where he acted with the deceased River Phoenix. Ethan Hawke went on to critical acclaim in the 1989 drama, Dead Poets Society. Hawke acted with Robin Williams and a very young Robert Sean Leonard. Hawk next notable role was in the gen X film Reality Bites, where he plays Troy Dyer the love interest of Lelaina Pierce played by Winona Ryder. Hawke is still acting and still receiving praise for his efforts. Along with acting Ethan Hawke also is a writer and has directed.
